Kaitiaki Supervision provides kaupapa Māori reflective supervision for practitioners who support the wellbeing of others. Grounded in principles of manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, accountability and the restoration of mauri, supervision offers a safe and confidential space to reflect, learn, grow and strengthen practice.
Drawing on 27 years of professional experience, my training as a Mauri Ora Trained Counsellor, kaupapa Māori practice, and my own lived experience as a life thriver, I support practitioners to explore their mahi, ethical considerations, professional development, cultural responsiveness and practitioner wellbeing.
Kaitiaki Supervision recognises that those who hold space for others also need spaces where they are held, supported and strengthened. Together, we reflect on the responsibilities, challenges and growth opportunities within this mahi, while honouring the importance of maintaining our own mauri as practitioners.
